Promoted by Beeston Excelsior Prize Band
1st prize £5, 2nd prize £3, 3rd prize £2, 4th prize £1 divided between Long Eaton Town and Beeston Humber.
6 bands competed.
On mounting the stand to play, band #1, Beeston Humber, the stand being 5 foot off the ground, it gave way. Fortunately no one was hurt, merely given a fright and shaken - which told somewhat on their playing!
