Terms defined before EMF, previously planned in Interlaken; around 85% of the totally 550 participating Brass Bands/Wind Bands will also participate at the March Contests.

Each Band prep. 2 Marches, Jury decided which one to play > held on May 14th - 17th.
Draws till .. played on Thursday, then till ... Friday, then till ... on Saturday, finally till ... on Sunday.

(Draw was an over all, sep. for Routes 'Q' and 'Z', incl. Evolutions - ranked Sections CS-1st but sep. Brass/Wind).
Bands played on the 2 Marching Routes (route de defilée): 'Oberer Quai' (marked Q) and 'Zentralstrasse' (marked Z) in the City-Centre of Biel.
