Brass Band News July 1950 states that the local prize (Reyonolds Cup) was won by Clifton and Lightcliffe Band - this seems highly unlikely as the distance to Lightcliffe from the contest venue is 31 miles!. (dutchy)
12 bands competed.
13th annual contest.
