A Child Imagined aims to capture a world seen through the eyes of a child. The piece begins with a simple melodic motif featured on xylophone which is then repeated and transformed in various ways throughout its three contrasting movements. The writing features interweaving rhythms, soaring melodies and is full of fun and vibrant imagination. This charming piece has a child-like innocence and playfulness which will capture your heart and take you on your own journey back to childhood.
